If it weren’t for the gradual ramping up of his anger, ending in his going off the deep end in a decidedly weird way, I’d wonder whether someone hacked his account.
Someone linked to that thread from the Usual Suspects about six months ago, and I used one of the guy’s quotes as the tagline for the board for a week or so. (I think it was the one that said “You people are the cowardly ones and I AM RESPONDING APPROPRIATELY.”) Apparently some people hadn’t seen the original link, and thought I was really pissed off at everyone at the Usual Suspects, and they all kept trying to find the flame war that prompted me to call everyone “sons of whores.”
I am occasionally an angry lady, but I’m not THAT angry.

Is there ever a time when using the phrase “sons of whores” ISN’T appropriate?

Waste of time… I’d agree with comment 30 (after which I quit reading) The gist of which was:
a. The initial thread was a successful troll
b. The guy is looney tunes.
In either case, it’s a waste of time, and responding to it is IMO enabling.
