Dude, I don’t know. More serious reviewers than I have analyzed this movie in-depth. You want discussion of the philosophy behind this flick, be my guest. Maybe this is the most amazing presentation of Gnostic philosophy ever. Maybe it’s all commentary on reality and corporate hype.
All I know is, during the very long and technically marvelous action scenes, my main thought was, “I wonder how they did the CGI for this one.”
Probably not the reaction they were looking for.
Also: tired of the whole black trenchcoats and sunglasses thing. But maybe that’s me.
But I did notice the same makeup of the population of Zion that this guy did. Gotta mean something. Guess the next movie will explain it all.
By the way, you totally need to refresh with The Matrix before seeing Reloaded. Took me a little while to get with the program (heh) and figure out the rules.

We were able to see The Matrix Reloaded because Darin’s brother Scott and his girlfriend asked to babysit on Friday night. Yes, you read that correctly. They told us they’d like to babysit.
Maybe we do live in the Matrix…

Hello, I am from Japan. Yesterday, The Matrix Reloaded was released in Japan. It is the talk of the movies, and reveiws are almost positive. One TV station televised The Matrix on TV the day before yesterday.
Because of the CM, I know that 100 smiths appear. It took so many hours to film the short scene. It needed so hard actions that the actor kept his body cool by using icy water. Moreover, producers made real freeway, and it was contributed to Mexico.
I have not seen The Matrix Reloaded, so I am looking forward to seeing it.

Reloaded was not as good as the first Matrix to me because it seems they just wanted to show how much they could do with computers. All in all though I liked the plot except for the very open endedness. Is that a word?
If I wanted to try and figure this out I would say that everyone is still in the matrix including zion because Neo can kill the machines even unplugged.
I also think that the architect and the oracle are part of the program run by the machines and just maneuver Neo and the others to do what they want by giving them the run around and letting them keep their minds occupied thinking that they are finding a way out when they will never find a way out. If they find the plug and pull it, they die too and the program starts over.
Morpheus has totally lost faith.
I wonder if the makers are trying to say that God doesn’t exist and that we should make up our own lives independent of everyone else at the expense of everyone else.
Anyway, It was a cool movie and I look forward to the next. However, I don’t think I will let it influence my reality.

I Really enjoyed the matrix reloaded, however I was left baffled with the “to be continued”. It left me a bit disgruntled.
