Hey, lookee here! The Mining Company has named me a "pick of the week" on their web site!
Today I woke up before the alarm, at 6:20, to make it to the exam by 8. I made it to USC in under a half an hour, so one thing I've managed to learn from this class is that the time to head downtown is right around 7.
The exam went all right -- I know I blew one of the questions because it depended on the reading, which I never did. The question was, "What does such-and-such book say about these advances in technology in relation to the Classical Hollywood style? Do you agree or disagree?" Well, I hadn't a clue as to the first part, but the second part I could handle, so I b.s.ed a while. I think I did okay on the rest.
Right after this exam, I went over to the GSP office and picked up my Script Analysis final. I got an A-! Already this semester is looking up. At least in comparison to last semester, grade-wise.
I'm watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on the WB. This show rocks. I love this show. I am going to call them and ask if they need an intern. It's both ooky, with demons and vampires, and hysterical. I am staying home solely to watch this show. I am so upset that I've missed any episodes -- I want to buy it on laserdisk right this minute.
Darin and I finished watching The Shining. It was good; it could have been better with maybe an hour trimmed. But you can't have a 5-hour miniseries.
I love Sweeps -- the local WB channel offers the following for the late-night news: "Is there life on other planets?"
Tomorrow's my last writing class and the final for Brooke. Year One is already over. I can't believe it.
