Even the sunlight looks different up here.



I'm home. Slept in my own bed last night. Am not in the process of running off to my next destination, I don't have to get on a plane during the next 48 to 72 hours. Hopefully I'll get my health back, a new web page design (Ceej said she'd help, but she wants to interview me about what kind of page I want and who I am and my politics and stuff like that -- eeek!), Christmas shopping done.

Last night, after getting me at the airport, Darin took me out to dinner with CJ and Sho. The four of drank way too much sake (okay -- three of us drank too much sake; Darin had a cup or two) and wandered around Mountain View for a bit. Then we dropped CJ and Sho back at Magic and Darin took me home.

I don't think I've dropped off to sleep so fast in a very long time.

That purring sound you hear is not your computer's hard disk on the fritz.


Usually when I search for mentions of myself on the Web -- stop it, you know you do it too -- I use Alta Vista. I decided to break out and use a different one yesterday, so I used Excite.

Excite showed me something Alta Vista never has: the site mentions me a couple of times, fairly prominently and in connection to online journaling. To whit:
