A Bit Calmer

I enjoyed my trip--but it's always nice to come home.

I went running this morning (yay for me). When I came back, we packed up, we checked out, and we drove downtown to drop off Darin's tux. Then we went to breakfast at Sears' Fine Foods, a wonderful breakfast joint in San Francisco. Darin had the 18 Famous Pancakes, I had the French toast. Both were yummy.

We returned the rental car, got on our plane, and came home to 85 degree weather. Summer is here, with a vengeance. Gotta break out the massive quantities of sunscreen.

When I got settled in at my desk, I called Linda. Nothing much had happened over the weekend, although she was sad she couldn't dash off e-mail to me while I was gone. "What are you talking about?" I said. I didn't check in as frequently as I thought I might, but more than zero.

I tried to nap. I lay there for 2 hours and nothing happened. My body felt as though it wanted to sleep, every part of it was numb, but I couldn't fall asleep. I hate that.

Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics

5 miles this morning. I don't think this makes up for the wedding yesterday or breakfast today. Oh well.

The
             Paperwork continues...
