Toni has some fantastic news to report! Yay, Toni!
(She sent me the first three chapters to read, plus the…errr…outline. (Don’t know if she’s talked about that. So I won’t.) I read the chapters. And then proceeded immediately to read the outline so I could find out how it ended. There wasn’t much question in my mind that it would sell. And how!)
And what’s particularly amazing is how calm Toni is being about this whole thing. Possibly it’s shock, but more likely Toni knows she has a real winner here, and any excitement about it is wholly earned!

I think I’m calm because there was a week’s delay from the first point of hearing that they wanted to make a preemptive bid to the moment of them actually making it. That first day after hearing, I felt like I was about to buzz clear out of my skin, but I didn’t tell anyone what was up. I wanted it to be “real” I guess, so y’all just didn’t see me when I was a little freaked out.
