yes, sadly, nigella does have a weekly column with the ny times. god knows why. the woman frankly admits that she can’t cook, and she doesn’t know much about regional cooking.
we here in new york and at the wonderful blog saute wednesday were surprised when her so-called “tuscan menu” offered dishes from other italian regions that aren’t eaten in tuscany. or when she tried to pawn off “toad in the hole” as food.
please! not even british people will eat that stuff any more!

I do like Nige’s stuff as a rule, but she’s repeating herself a bit with this run. Stuff I’ve seen on her shows or in the books. Needs to not rest on the laurels of the Brit shows.
