(I love Movable Type! It auto-generates multiple indexes!)

Perhaps you can tweak that other index page to include the comment counter/link?
Also, did you put in some hack to constantly change the description line? Every time it changes, I gigle a little.
Okay, so I’ve changed the alt-index page so it actually includes comments, but I see somewhere along the line I seem to have screwed something up and introduced blank lines into the comment formatting, which makes things look really ugly. Debugging: always fun.

I have about 10 descriptions for the journal and I add more as the mood strikes me. You put this code in the Blog Config section of Movable Type, btw.
